Sovereign wealth funds being "unfairly treated"

Jesse Wang, vice president and chief risk officer of China Investment Corporation (CIC), has said that sovereign wealth funds are not receiving fair treatment in international markets.

"Sovereign wealth funds are not being treated fairly at this point," Wang was quoted as saying during remarks at an investment conference in Hong Kong on 4 April. "The reality is we are seeing rising protectionism and nationalism," he added.
