PWC to carry out Ukraine national bank audit

UKRAINE - The audit of the National Bank of Ukraine in 2001 will be done by the PriceWaterhouseCoopers company. Such was the decision by the NBU board, NBU board chairman Anatoly Halchynsky is quoted as saying.

Anatoly Halchynsky also said that in future the NBU board will rotate its auditors. The board will consider candidates for its next audit in February 2002. Would-be auditors will be selected from among the world's five leading auditing firms, A. Halchynsky confirmed.
