OECD calls for eurozone interest rate cut

Eurozone interest rates should be cut by the European Central Bank, the head of the OECD suggested Monday.

Lower rates could help bolster economic recovery in the area, Donald Johnston, chief of the think-tank, claimed. ECB base rates are at 2 per cent, versus 1 per cent in the US.
