Vice-president says recent uptick in inflation was driven in part by seasonal factors
Argentina’s economy is in a “very solid external position” despite facing a significant geopolitical shock from the recent conflict in the Middle East, the vice-president of the Central Bank of Argentina (BCRA) has said.
“For the first time, the Argentine economy is preserving its domestic financial stability without requiring adjustments to economic policy, thus differentiating itself from most emerging economies,” Vladimir Werning said at the 43rd Congress of the Argentine Institute of Finance
