Europe the best-regulated region: IMF

European authorities lead the world in regulation, says new research published by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

The research finds that out of the five regions used in the IMF's World Economic Outlook, European economies exhibit the highest levels of supervisory quality. Within Europe, European Union members had superior regulatory standards.
