Fed's Ferguson to head G7 stability body-G7 source

Federal Reserve Vice Chairman Roger Ferguson will be named the new head of the Financial Stability Forum this weekend, Reuters reports. A G7 source apparently said on Thursday "It will be Ferguson" when asked about the appointment.

Finance ministers from the Group of Seven (G7) rich nations plus Russia will this weekend name U.S. Federal Reserve Vice Chairman Roger Ferguson as new head of the Financial Stability Forum, a G7 source said on Thursday.
