ECB Duisenberg says europe needs structural reform

SPAIN - Wim Duisenberg, chairman of the European Central Bank, said Europe needs to speed up structural economic reforms to stimulate growth.

In an interview with Spanish daily newspaper El Mundo Sunday, Duisenberg said: "We must understand that that if we want the European economy to be more dynamic and offer higher levels of social well-being, we must put into practice effective structural reform."
