Costa Rica to maintain exchange rate policy

Costa Rica's central bank said on Thursday it would continue with mini-devaluations of its currency against the dollar, despite complaints that it makes local business less competitive. "We aren't going to modify the exchange policy of mini-devaluations because it is a predictable system that works well and which people understand," Eduardo Lizano, president of Costa Rica's central bank told reporters.
