ECB stresses resilience of US system
"The fundamental strength and resilience of the US economic system will not be impaired by recent events," the ECB said.
The bank issued a statement after its 18-member governing council decided not to make an emergency interest rate cut in response to market disruption caused by the attacks.
The ECB said
