
Buba chief concerned about euro stability, growth
Bundesbank President Ernst Welteke said in an article published at the weekend that the Stability and Growth Pact has "not yet been buried," but it has been seriously damaged by the decision taken in Brussels. "It is now decisively important that France and Germany speedily implement the promised corrections and return to the deficit limit of 3 per cent by 2005," he said.
