RBI eyes Saturday mornings off

The Reserve Bank of India is considering a proposal to change its working hours, scrapping weekend work and moving to a five-day working week.

According to the Financial Express, an Indian newspaper, the RBI is intending to move to a five-day week and has already informed its unions about the proposed move. The article suggests that employees would have to work 10 more hours during the week in order to liberate their weekends. However, as employees currently only work 3 1/2 hours on Saturdays it
