Insurance supervisors strengthen cooperation
In a bid to strengthen cooperation among insurance supervisors worldwide, three insurance regulators on Thursday signed up to the International Association of Insurance Supervisors's (IAIS) Multilateral Memorandum of Understanding.
The memorandum should enable regulators to improve the effectiveness of cross-border supervision of insurance companies and also support global efforts to control systemically-important financial institutions.
