BOZ appoints new spokesperson

The Bank of Zambia announced on Monday 12 June that it has appointed Penlope Mapoma as its Head of Public Relations.

The Bank's Deputy Governor for Administration, Felix Mfula, announced the appointment of Ms. Mapoma in a statement in Lusaka.

He said Ms. Mapoma will also be the official spokesperson for the central bank.

Ms. Mapoma, an economist who holds a master of business administration degree, has held various management positions in the central bank.

She replaces Kabinga Pande who resigned
