Hildebrand named new SNB vice-president

The Swiss government on Wednesday 8 November named Philipp Hildebrand as the new vice-president of the Swiss National Bank (SNB) as of May next year, replacing Niklaus Blattner, who will retire.

Thomas Jordan has been named as a new board member of the national bank.

Jordan is currently Alternate Member of the Governing Board and Head of Financial Markets in Department III. He will take over management of Department III.
