SWFs to cover bank shortfall for private equity?

Not content with buying up sizable stakes in the big investment banks, sovereign wealth funds could now take their business as well.

One of private equity's most high-profile figures has said that the industry is eschewing investment banks, its traditional funding source, in favour of sovereign wealth funds.
