Over four-fifths of banks have yet to update APP risk mitigants

Most emerging market institutions plan to improve climate provisions in near future

The majority of central banks have yet to add new risk management procedures to their asset purchase programmes (APPs).

A total of 27 institutions responded to this section. Slightly less than one-fifth (18.5%) said they have added new risk management procedures related to their APPs.

An even smaller proportion (7.4%) said they have embedded new climate change requirements in the same scheme.

Asked if respondents have plans to incorporate these requirements in the programme in the near future
