A minority of central banks use a governance, risk and compliance (GRC) system, the Risk Management Benchmarks 2022 show.

Central Banking asked officials from 30 central banks whether their institutions have a GRC system, of which 37% said they do.

GRC systems can help implement a systematic approach to risk management across a range of areas.
