A new question in this year’s monetary policy benchmarks survey explores the seniority levels in each department. Question two in the key figures table below highlights how seniority differs across economic groups and central bank sizes, helping to illuminate the differences between central banks in advanced economies (AEs) and those in emerging market economies (EMEs) and low income developing countries (LIDCs).
