Central bank aims to expand credit for key agricultural sector

The Central Bank of Argentina (BCRA) will allow farmers to use leasehold estate as collateral for loans, it announced on August 10. The decision aims to expand credit for the agriculture sector, which accounts for over 50% of the country’s exports and 10% of GDP.
