The Federal Reserve’s supervision chief said he would examine new and faster supervision methods in the wake of recent bank failures.

Speaking at a conference at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York on June 20, Michael Barr said he was planning a review of bank regulation and supervision over the next six months. He admitted bank supervisors struggled to react quickly to non-compliance and mismanagement.
