Finance ministers set to tackle bank resolution at Ecofin conference

European finance ministers, central bankers, and key representatives will gather for an informal 'Ecofin' meeting in Vilnius, Lithuania on Friday and Saturday to discuss ways to bolster confidence in EU financial policy - rounding off what could turn out to be a fateful week for the makeup of a future banking union.

The meeting will feature discussions on the operational structure of the single resolution mechanism (SRM) - a central pillar of banking union, alongside the single supervisory
