Agility is small markets’ strength, says Latvian deputy governor

Central banks from smaller economies should leverage their agility to facilitate innovation in the financial system, a deputy governor from the Bank of Latvia has said.

In a keynote speech today (June 10) at the Central Banking London Meetings, Santa Purgaile said central banks sat at the intersection of economics, finance, technology, security and geopolitics.
