Serbian governor says swap line represents ‘iron friendship’ with China
The central banks of China and Serbia have more than tripled the size of their currency swap agreement, while renewing it for another five years.
A statement issued by the People’s Bank of China on May 28 said that the central bank had signed the agreement with the National Bank of Serbia to increase the size of their bilateral swap agreement to 5 billion yuan ($737.5 million), up from the previous size of 1.5 billion yuan. The PBoC statement said that the renewal and expansion of the agreement
