Over the coming months the UK government and the City of London corporation – in an effort co-ordinated by wholesale digital markets champion Chris Woolard – will be working with the financial services industry to establish an agenda for the digital transformation of London’s capital markets.

Their goals – to reduce operational friction, improve liquidity management, enable more automated and programmable market processes, and thereby restore London as the world’s leading international financial
