Austrian authorities to co-operate on cyber security

Central bank signs accord with ministry and financial regulator to strengthen collaboration

The National Bank of Austria has signed a “cyber security co-operation agreement” with the country’s interior ministry and its financial markets authority.

In its announcement on December 16, the central bank said the agreement, signed four days previously, aimed to put the “existing close co-operation” between the authorities on a “binding and permanent foundation”.
