New Zealand governor says industry and politicians must respond to rise of “less cash” society
New Zealand’s central bank governor called on lawmakers to help ensure that all the country’s citizens have continued access to cash.
It has become “increasingly challenging” for the Reserve Bank of New Zealand to manage different payment instruments as cash usage changes, Adrian Orr said today (February 21).
