Nalm Americas: Reserves panel split on euro
Central banks across the Americas have reduced allocations to the euro within their reserves portfolios – but opinion is split on whether the euro crisis will lead to further reductions.
Speaking on a panel discussion at the National Asset-Liability Management Americas conference in São Paulo this morning, Pamela Cardoza Ordiz, chief monetary and reserves affairs officer at the Central Bank of Colombia, said her institution had reduced its allocation to the euro from 12% to 4% in February this
