SF Fed's Yellen on the U.S economy in 2006

In the speech 'The U.S economy in 2006' given on 15 March, Janet Yellen of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco said the Federal Reserve Board's monetary policy is expected to be determined by economic data outcomes in the near term.

In the speech, via a satellite link, Yellen told a business economists' meeting in Sydney that the inflation rate in the US appears to be contained but the Fed has to be sensitive to the danger that monetary policy could be tightened too far.
