Fed's Mishkin on the U.S. economic outlook

In the speech 'The U.S. economic outlook' given on 20 April Frederic Mishkin of the Federal Reserve said 'elevated' core inflation should come down if US interest rates stay at current levels.

"I recognize that uncertainties surrounding the economic outlook have increased recently, and I remain concerned that the persistence of inflation at the recent elevated rate could have adverse consequences for economic performance," Mishkin said in remarks at Bard College.
