New artificial intelligence models will create “new and sophisticated” cyber risks, Joachim Nagel has said.

The Deutsche Bundesbank president told attendees of the International Economic Symposium in Rome today (April 21) that although AI could have the same transformational impact on economies as electricity, it came with high energy and environmental costs.
