UAE central bank announces new cyber security centre

Gulf state saw huge increase in cyber attacks in 2020

The Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates announced on November 2 that it is opening a networking and cyber security operations centre.

The new facility will safeguard the UAE’s financial system from digital threats and develop cyber security standards for the banking and finance sector. It will also help manage the CBUAE’s cyber security and operations.
