Confusion reigns over EU multi-issuance stablecoins regs

EBA seeking clarification from EC over assets’ legality after ECB’s and ESRB’s calls for ban

The European Banking Authority (EBA) is seeking clarification from the European Commission (EC) on whether multi-issuance stablecoins are allowed under the European Union’s crypto regulations. The request came after the European Central Bank and the European Systemic Risk Board (ESRB) sought to ban the issuance model.
