Bailey joins calls for alignment of global crypto regulations

Regulators must “come together” to unlock digital assets’ cross-border functions, BoE governor says

Global regulators should align their strategies on crypto assets to unlock the technology’s cross-border potential, the governor of the Bank of England has said.

During a ‘fireside chat’ at the Institute of International Finance’s annual meeting in Washington on October 14, Andrew Bailey was asked about the fragmentation of crypto regulations among major authorities.
