Brics governors announce central bank capacity-building hub

Focus will be on sustainable finance, cyber security and AI

Central bank governors from the Brics countries have announced a joint capacity building hub, while emphasising ongoing efforts to settle trade and promote investment in local currencies.

The announcement was made at the second meeting to be held this year involving the bloc’s central bank governors and finance ministers, which took place in Mumbai on September 10.
