FCA increases guidance to big tech around consumer protection


The Financial Conduct Authority has outlined where big tech firms, such as Google, can do more to protect consumers, as part of its annual ‘Perimeter Report’.

First published in 2019, the report outlines which financial activities require authorisation from UK regulators and what level of protection consumers can expect from the services they purchase.
