Fintech experts recruited for New York Fed advisory group

New group will provide gateway for Fed to interact with tech industry leaders

The Federal Reserve Bank of New York has recruited specialists from Google Cloud and Transferwise, among several others, to sit on its new Fintech Advisory Group.

On March 22, the committee was launched as a platform to establish “clear points of contact” with senior leaders from some of the world’s largest technology firms.
