BIS to launch ‘innovation hub’ – Carstens

New medium-term strategy focuses on technology and other innovations

The Bank for International Settlements is launching an “innovation hub” as part of a broader medium-term strategy.

General manager Agustín Carstens outlined some of the proposals at a conference hosted in Basel on March 12. He said the organisation would be creating initiatives “to better understand the implications of technological developments”.
