Argentina rejects rumours it will adjust exchange rate policy

Economy ministry says it will not make changes to currency band, media reports

Argentina’s economy ministry has denied media reports that it would consider adjusting the country’s exchange rate policy, according to a domestic news outlet.

In April, the currency was allowed to fluctuate within a range of 1,000–1,400 pesos to the dollar. Since then, the ceiling has increased, and the floor decreased, by 1% a month.
