Gross international foreign exchange reserves at the Central Bank of Seychelles have steadily increased during the past few years. What are the key drivers of this, and is it sustainable?

Most of the growth trajectory we’ve seen, especially in the past few years, has been a result of the Seychelles economy performing better as a whole – improved tourism income that we’ve seen has allowed us to accumulate more reserves from the market. This has been one of the more organic aspects of the growth.
