Lagarde signals Covid-19 stimulus will remain active for longer

Asset purchases and bank lending programmes will be key ECB tools; rate cut not mentioned

European Central Bank president Christine Lagarde indicated today (November 11) that the evolution of the Covid-19 crisis requires the ECB to provide stimulus for longer.
