Parents of children born during Montenegro’s ‘savings week’ are set to receive €2,000 as part of an initiative involving the country’s central bank.

The Central Bank of Montenegro announced it would be teaming up with commercial lenders to give parents of children born between October 31 and November 6 €2,000 ($2,303) per child. Half of the amount will be paid by the lender the parents use for their savings, while the remainder will come from the central bank itself.
