Acting chair Rodger Finlay steps into position permanently ahead of new governor taking office
Two new appointments at New Zealand’s central bank are the latest steps towards refreshing the institution, the country’s finance minister has said.
The Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) said today (November 27) that Rodger Finlay had been appointed as chair of its board and that he would remain in the role until next June. Finlay had been serving as acting chair since his predecessor stepped down in late August amid transparency concerns surrounding the sudden departure of the bank’s former
