The Bank of England will implement recommendations made by the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) when publishing its 2019–20 annual report.

The TCFD recommendations are aimed at helping businesses and other organisations to communicate climate related risks.

The move by the UK central bank was revealed by its governor Mark Carney at a Network for Greening the Financial System meeting in Paris today (April 17).
