Tunisia’s government will again request funding from the country’s central bank to finance next year’s budget.

Reuters reported on October 15 that the Treasury planned to seek up to 11 billion dinars ($3.7 billion) from the Central Bank of Tunisia to meet spending needs, citing a draft budget document it had seen.

Fiscal spending was expected to increase by about 6% to around 63.6 billion dinars in 2026, while revenue was projected to rise to 52.6 billion dinars, Bloomberg reported on Thursday
