Eastern Caribbean Central Bank posts record profit for 2024–25

Monetary authority says tally exceeds previous record by 57%

The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) has announced record profits for the year ending on March 31.

The results were included in the bank’s annual report, published on June 30. In a statement accompanying its publication, the bank said the net profit of EC$126.2 million (US$46.6 million) was 57% greater than the previous record of EC$80.2 million, which the ECCB achieved in 2023–24.

The central bank credited its achievement to market conduct regulation, financial consumer protection
