Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina reports drop in counterfeits

The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH) today (July 30) announced that the number of counterfeit banknotes and coins recovered had fallen by 76% since last year.

A total number of 1,312 fake banknotes and coins of all currencies and denominations were seized in the first half of 2012, which is 76.01% less compared with the corresponding period in 2011, the central bank said.
