Basel Committee examines use of CCyBs across jurisdictions

Report highlights how more jurisdictions are implementing positive neutral buffer rates

The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision has published a report on how member jurisdictions are implementing the positive neutral counter-cyclical capital buffer (CCyB).

The report, published on November 28, says more central banks are voluntarily introducing positive neutral CCyBs as part of their macro-prudential toolkits.
