Treasuries market is robust, NY Fed officials tell conference

Federal Reserve officials see a strong market for US Treasury bonds despite recent volatility, they said at a recent conference.

They made their remarks at the 2023 US Treasury Market Conference held by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York on November 16.

Foreign investors increased their US Treasury allocations in response to recent volatility, said Anna Nordstrom, head of the domestic and international markets functions in the markets group at the New York Fed.
