Paraguay’s central bank unveils new series of banknotes

Designs come with updated security and accessibility features

The Central Bank of Paraguay has launched a new series of banknotes for all six currency denominations in circulation.

In a ceremony at its headquarters in the capital Asunción on October 5, the institution unveiled new designs covering all the currency’s banknotes, from 2,000 guaraníes ($0.34) up to 100,000 guaraníes.
