The Bank of England is asking the UK public for its views on which animals should feature on its next set of banknotes.

The bank announced on June 3 that it was opening a consultation that would run until July 3 on which creatures should feature on its new £5, £10, £20 and £50 notes. Members of the public will be able to select up to two options from three categories, each of which comprises six animals.
